"It was a pleasure working with Michael and his team. We procrastinated for quite a while trying to sell the property ourselves. We decided to list with Michael and a couple of days later, he met me at the house. The property was listed on the MLS on a Thursday and by Saturday we had at least 2 offers.Michael was very helpful through the negotiation process and approximately 4 weeks later, we closed. I would recommend NextHome to anyone needing a quality realty team.Thanks Michael and Dee"

"Michael 'helped' us sell our home; by that, I mean he facilitated the session with the photographer. We had to circumvent him and go directly to the title agency, buyer's agent, and eventually random other employees at his firm that were unrelated to the sale, after unsuccessfully chasing him down for hours or days when timeliness was crucial. When he responded to our voicemails or texts, it was only to put us off and never follow up. We had to rely on Katy (sp?), an employee at his firm, to get ANY updates when the buyer's lender needed following up, and eventually defaulted to circumventing him completely.At several points in the buying and selling of our home, his unresponsiveness could have cost us the contracts on one or both homes. When we received an offer, we notified HIM, not the other way around, and he did not offer any advice in negotiating or accepting/ declining, even when we asked straight out. He only gave noncommittal, "sometimes" and "maybe"s, and answered our questions with the same question back. It was like talking to a Magic 8 ball. He gave the impression that he just wanted to take the first offer received in a highly competitive seller's market, without advocating or negotiating to get the best offer possible.Our realtor for BUYING OUR NEW HOUSE, and the title agency used for that transaction, were more instrumental in moving the sale along than Michael was. When we were forced to book a hotel room and delay the closing on our new home due to problems with the title agency he recommended, we were notified by them, Katy, and our buying realtor a full hour and a half before he told us, after we would have already had to check out of our hotel room or pay for an additional night.We paid Michael's team almost $15,000, of which I assume he personally received the lion's share of as both broker and realtor of the sale, for him to be literally useless. One of the most frustrating parts of the whole ordeal was that we initially were using a different (read: more responsive, helpful, and by all appearances knowledgeable) realtor at his firm, but he stepped in and said he would be taking over the sale. If he didn't have the time to professionally negotiate and manage this sale, he should not have steamrolled in and taken over in the first place."

"Michael is the best! He knows everything there is to know about the area, he goes above and beyond to make sure that you are informed all the way through the process. He knows the rules and follows them so that everything is handled properly. He is one of the people who says " I will call you back" and actually does. His staff handle every little detail so you do not have to worry about anything. He also is an excellent reference for any needs you have relating to your property such as pest control, maintenance work and a vast variety of other property services. I have used Michael both to sell property and to purchase property and will continue to use him in the future."
